This comment from SG was from the Journal article “Get good or feel good” - I’ve included it here as a separate post as it’s an important point to consider during training. I also won’t be discussing details of training here as that’s in the supporter section to keep us somewhat safe from “The Walking Offended” who may shuffle past if momentarily separated from their herd…
SG: “In the video in Journal entry 205, the person who was stabbed took 10 steps afterwards and even as he was falling down, he was still conscious enough at that point to put a hand out to slow his descent. Presumably if he had had a knife, as well as his opponent, he would have still been dangerous right up to the moment before he collapsed. Sometimes I realise I’ve been thinking of myself as super-human, valiantly brushing aside multiple nasty stabs and slashes….”
