259 - Aide-mémoire: June '22 week one (blunt weapon)
Wed 01/06/22 Stroud private workshop content
The public venue was closed this week, I didn’t run a workshop on the usual Tuesday night - we’ll be back next week with the general U.K. self defence material.
No issues with the other venue though, so last night was our regular private training get together.
For those of you that read the Journal but don’t attend workshops, the small private workshops are more physical and are where I take a deeper look at self protection problems like knife crime and so on.
This has been to make sure that students are prepared for harder physical training and contact levels before they’re exposed to it and also to get to know the student before certain training is shared with them. Some may disagree with this approach but I feel it’s responsible given the nature of what we look at.
The “Aide - memoire” lists are to help retention for those that attend a workshop, complete instructional material is usually posted separately. If you can’t attend a workshop, please feel free to email a question if you have one about anything you read in the supporter sections, or indeed anywhere.
