(Jeth: Thanks to another reader for sending a news report stating that the main bully from post 392 - see below for link- was arrested):
“Police have arrested a man, 18, after a video posted on social media showed people entering a private home in Hackney, east London, Scotland Yard said.
The Met said on Monday night: “An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing a public nuisance and is currently in police custody.
“The arrest follows an investigation into social media footage which featured a number of incidents, including apparently unsolicited approaches made towards members of the public in the street or on transport, and entering addresses without the apparent permission of the owners.”
DCS James Conway of the central east command unit, which is responsible for policing in Hackney and Tower Hamlets, said: “I do not underestimate the widespread upset, distress and concern that these videos caused.
“Some people have referred to these as prank videos, but I hope that this significant development demonstrates just how seriously we have been taking this investigation since this footage began circulating online.
“A number of these videos were produced, impacting on many different people and our investigation remains ongoing as we seek to build a strong picture of both the activity featured in the footage and impact on the public.”
A video shared on social media shows a man entering a home through an open front door while a resident is cleaning outside. He then speaks to a male resident and sits down on a sofa briefly before leaving.”
(Jeth: The news referred to one specific video but briefly mentions other incidents - two others are shown here below from other sources that I was sent, so that you can compare the footage.
It will be interesting to see if this gets any more press time and how it will be presented. And also what, if any, the legal consequences will be.
You can see that these are not pranks when viewed together and I covered this in the previous article.
This seems to be the work of one specific male - along with others shown in the videos and helping with the camera, so is hardly a crime wave sweeping the nation but it is worth being aware of this kind of set up as his reported arrest will just give more status to this clown and possible copying.
One way to counter to someone getting in your car like this would have been to look really excited and talk about the voices finally sending you someone to die with and then drive off with him in the back while laughing maniacally and muttering about being together forever.
No one hurt and everyone gets in on the fun.
Always be willing to take things in a very unexpected and dark direction that a bully hasn’t considered - at least you can get a laugh on the way.
Kidnapping illegal you say? Well, I suppose yes it is.
But hey, it was just a prank, right?)

UPDATED
“TikTok prankster “Mizzy” has been fined £365 and given a Criminal Behavior Order which bans him from posting any content on social media without the express permission of people in his videos, & entering any private residential property without permission, for 2 years.
The CBO, which is a successor to the ASBO, also bans him from entering any schools or retail properties, or from going to Westfield Stratford, until 2025.
Breaching it would be a criminal offence, and could land him with prison time or an unlimited fine.
Mizzy” whose real name is Bacari Ogarro, pleaded guilty to breaching a Community Protection Notice that prevented him causing harassment, alarm or distress, when on 15th May he entered a house without permission, whilst children where inside, as part of a TikTok “prank”.
The victim told the court she thought it was an attempted burglary, not a social media prank, causing her, her husband and her 2 young children considerable distress.
She said the subsequent viral video and media interest had made that distress worse, and put her family at risk
