Adrenaline
Knife work and counter knife work are dangerously easy to teach in some ways and in others, well - the extreme opposite. The latter case being true if you take it seriously.
It’s little effort to make a few facile comments and then launch into an hour of crap that merely shows techniques and dangerous fantasy.
Non-awareness and freezing
It’s an entirely different thing to realise that this subject is amorphous, complex and may potentially befall an individual without their awareness of what is happening or that with actual awareness, fear can overtake them to the point of not being able to actuate the training they have received in order to survive a real incident.
