Well, it’s been a busy first week of 2024 for some of the fellow denizens with whom we are forced to share this isle who have embraced the now-established cult of exercising their divine right for self-expression through the use of large blades with increased gusto!

But wait! There’s more!
Mailbox: Another reader submitted video follows hot on the heels of the last post:
Not a full video of the situation, so the start of this is unclear - looks like a payback for some earlier friction being actioned by members of the UK’s cognitive elite.
First the owner’s car and then onto the target himself/themselves in the building to the left which looks to be a bar/ restaurant judging by the bar stool equaliser that emerges.
As a side note
I asked the AI image generator for a photo-realistic image of the actor Edward Woodward from “The Equaliser” TV show swinging a barstool and got this below. Denzil has nothing to worry about.
Back to the video and readers abroad will note the effectiveness of the standard British verbal command of “Oi!!” (Simply repeat until violence stops) which the authoritative female voice then followed with the devastating:
“That’s not your car!!!”.
Screaming and mobile phones.
The stool seemed to be more effective.
Book serialisation
I’ll continue to post sections from what will be a new student manual, with the next parts cued up from this week. Paid subscribers will get these mailed out as they publish.
Stop and search series
This series of articles will also be continuing soon.
Workshops: January ‘24 - Week one
Both of the workshops this week and those coming for the rest of the month will be on the main theme of being unarmed against an edged weapon.
Private training expands next week and the month will finish with our London workshop - sharing options for escaping knife crime for families who will train together with their children.
I’m donating my time, so EVERY PENNY of the money raised will go to install bleed kits in the local community there (my old neighborhood).
Many thanks to those of you who have either booked to attend, donated, or helped spread the word and support this project - it is very much seen and appreciated.
Of some note…
As well as the fact that some male attendees, though young, had already been followed and assaulted by older males in town, it’s also interesting and very telling that the members of Sunday’s workshop (kids from the age of 11 ) were more knife-carry site aware than many older trainees when I first met them and that is surely a sign of the times.
These will be a series of workshops for local teens on realistically avoiding and dealing with aggression.
