This is a supporter-only follow-up to the previous free scenario training article with 10 performance notes on how to better improve the chances of this common combatives technique working against an aggressor that has you backed up against a wall or other people.

  1. If you are backed up and your guard is collapsed in towards your own chest by the proximity of the aggressor - they’re pushing chest into you rather than grabbing with one hand, you will be very limited in your ability to apply the hammerfist. Here’s a possible solution:
