Add to that the grief you get from trolls and people hell-bent on misunderstanding, and the ever present risk of rules changing, etc, and it’s all a lot of effort for little or no return.

It’s the inconsistency that’s so galling. Try hosting a breast-feeding support page….

"Try hosting a breast-feeding support page…." just added that to my 2022 to-do list...

That actually made me laugh. Good luck with that one. You could try ‘self-defence for breast-feeding mothers’, that should violate all sorts of community standards!

Well exactly. And those things, fully loaded, can definitely be weaponised, if your aim is any good.

Brilliant! There's far more value in utilising a platform which supports free speech rather than selling out to those which only allow content that fits into their own narrative (even if they are more convenient)! Especially in these times.

@Kiwichic - Thanks for stopping by, much appreciated. Basically, the relationship you have with those platforms is as an unwaged worker - you create original content for them (they then own it) and drive profits up but get nothing in return. I knew several other trainers that were paying for likes, so it's not like the "organic" reach was that great.

No one talked about a subject, especially honestly - just a like button.

In the end, it's just totally incompatible with the subject matter of personal protection as you are saying that you're ok with being silenced.
