Thanks for the analysis of the video. What I always notice from these is how hard it is to get what is actually going on. Which says a lot about the reliability of eye witnesses! At first it looked like the downed man’s mate actually knocked him over, but then I realise he was trying to intercept the blow from the big guy.
I wonder how much the adrenaline was from the fighting, and how much was from the horrible realisation that the name-caller was still out cold? Certainly, his fleeing seemed to be precipitated by the sight of the guy on the ground.
And Goodness me, if I had men defending my “honour” every time someone called me a bitch, well, that would be a lot of man hours….
